SPLAT!
I have to admit that I have never opened the refrigerator door and had something jump out at me! Not a good thing..more of a messy thing...amazingly, the plate did not break. Guess the eggs cushioned the fall!
Were the eggs good? Who knows? I had tried a new recipe...topped them with tiny pieces of bacon and chives. I never sampled one.
When I make them again...I will do a taste test! Then, I will share the recipe....

Don't ya just hate it when that happens! Sorry you lost the eggs but I guess we could say you've had some practice for the next batch? Happy Weekend:@)

ReplyDeleteThey did look good though!
I would have been forced to use the 5 second rule, scoop those babies up and give them a try unless of course the dog had just paid a visit to the area.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Larry. It would have been my dirty little secret. Ooops. So sorry!
ReplyDeleteAhhh! I had sticky lemonade take a leap from my fridge door, Even after mopping, my floor still feels tacky.
ReplyDeleteOh no. Always sample first... (smile)

Oh dear, I've had similar things happen - not too long ago I flipped a cake out of the pan and it flipped right onto the floor, even worse it was on the carpet in front of my island, yuck. Your eggs look quite delicious, I love a good deviled egg and bacon and chives sound like a wonderful combination!
ReplyDeleteI love this! Having a sense of humor in the kitchen is a must. The eggs looked much better in their before picture. hahaha. Will look forward to seeing the recipe when you post it.
ReplyDeleteOh no...how awful! I think my family would burst into tears if they saw a plate of deviled eggs upside down on the floor.
ReplyDeleteOh my! I do love deviled eggs and these did look good.
