Camellias in the Garden

I have been visiting my daughter in Seattle and was so fortunate to be there the week that there was no rain!  I thought it would be a great idea to walk around my daughter's house, with my camera in hand, to look at all of the flowers in bloom.  I got as far as the camellias in the front yard!

I know I should have kept going but everywhere I looked there was another camellia that I had to capture!

I am sharing today at Outdoor Wednesday hosted by Susan at A Southern Daydreamer.

  1. Very pretty - ours were especially so as well this year.

  2. I adore camellias and my mother's garden was full of many colors of them. We also had several giant ones at our house in Mississippi. Really wish they would grow in Florida...

  3. Camellias are so beautiful:) And pleasant memories, for in our previous house we had a more fuchsia colored one standing outside our bedroom, and started blooming right after the New Year (that was Southern California)
Many thanks for sharing the camellia with SEASONS - much appreciated! Have a great rest of the week, and "see" you back next week (hope you know that any experience - beyond landscapes and nature goes for Seasons, right?)

  4. Your daughter's camellias are beautiful! The pink and white ones are exceptional. I planted a camellia bush in my garden last summer, post blooming season. I hope to see it bloom this summer!
